Delete Your BazaarSe Account

Request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data. Please read this page carefully to understand the process.

14-Day Cooling Period

After you request account deletion, there is a 14-day cooling period before your account is permanently deleted. During this period, you can cancel the deletion request and continue using your account as normal.

How to Request Account Deletion

Open BazaarSe App

Launch the BazaarSe app on your device and ensure you are logged in to the account you want to delete.

Go to Profile Settings

Navigate to Profile → Settings → Account from the app's menu.

Select "Delete Account"

Tap on the "Delete Account" option and confirm your request. You will receive a confirmation notification.

14-Day Cooling Period Begins

Your account enters a 14-day cooling period. During this time, your account is deactivated but not yet deleted. You can cancel the request anytime within these 14 days.

Permanent Deletion

After 14 days, your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted. This action is irreversible.

Want to Cancel Deletion?

If you change your mind during the 14-day cooling period, simply log back in to the BazaarSe app. You will see an option to "Cancel Account Deletion" and your account will be fully restored immediately. Alternatively, contact our support at admin@bazaarse.in or call +91 9040003636.

Data That Will Be Deleted

When your account is permanently deleted after the 14-day cooling period, the following data will be removed:

Personal profile information (name, email, phone number)
Delivery addresses
Order history and preferences
Saved payment methods
Wallet balance and transaction history
Ratings and reviews you submitted
Coupons, discounts, and loyalty points
Push notification preferences

Data Retained for Legal Compliance

Certain data may be retained for a limited period as required by Indian law and regulatory obligations:

Transaction/payment records Up to 7 years Financial compliance & tax regulations
Invoice and billing data Up to 7 years GST and accounting requirements
Fraud/dispute records Up to 5 years Legal disputes and fraud prevention

Retained data is stored securely and is not used for marketing or any purpose beyond legal requirements.

Important Things to Know

  • Any pending orders will be completed or cancelled before deletion proceeds.
  • Any outstanding wallet balance should be used or withdrawn before requesting deletion.
  • If you have active subscriptions, they will be cancelled upon deletion.
  • Once permanently deleted, your account cannot be recovered. You would need to create a new account.
  • Your phone number can be reused to create a new account after deletion is complete.
